Make a .gif? I don't know if .gif animations work in Access though, worth a try.

Don't expect us to do all the work for you, you have to at least try. We can guide you in the general direction and help out with specific implementation issues.

It depends what you mean about animations. Are you looking to make labels flash, to change colour backgrounds or what?

I think Rabbit has the right idea, but you'll need an ActiveX Control to accomplish this. You could also experiment with Insert ==> Object ==> *.avi for Embedding/Linking a Movie within your Form. This Link will show you how to use Animated GIFs in Access if you are interested. Good Luck.

Open the properties of the command buttons and go to the Picture property on the format tab. Add you picture here using the wizard (click button with dots on right of property).

This is unrealistic as it's very difficult (almost impossible) to control and would be too heavy a load on the database.

Have a look at the ActiveX control list for the kind of things you can introduce to forms.

Hello, I want to make a form with Macromedia Flash. I use php and mysql on my site. Is there any good tutorial on the net how to start developing a flash form? Most important is the data transfer between flash and php scripts. Thanks!

Folks, I am using Apache 1.3.x with PHP 4.3.x and MySQL v4. Short question: Before I put my web form available on the internet, how can I test it from mis-use in such that special characters are ignored? I have tried entering data such as `/bin/date > /tmp/1234` and this does not create a temporary file (which is what I would expect, meaning that my form is safe).

Appologies, this isn't really a javascript specific question.... Just wondering what the current size standard is for web-page design... it used to be 800 x 600 pxls (which seems quite small these days). Any suggestions. Thanx in advance, Litron

Hello! What is the recommended way to solve design when creating system today. Assume you use windows forms. You can use thin client PC(terminal server) which is a special kind of PC where you put all the execution on the server and only show the presentation on the client or you can use a traditional PC where some of the execution is done on the client. Can somebody tell me if I will use .NET will one or the other be more

I've got two GIF files named "Tigger.gif" and "Angry_barbarian.gif" that contain animations that I want to display on a web page. I've written the following XHTML code which works for a fraction of a sec- ond but no more. That is, the animations run for a very short period of time and then stop. My guess is that they're running through their short animated period and then stopping. How can I display animations like this that keep...

I'm making a game. I need to maintain a bunch of objects, in this case animations (explosions and stuff). I've decided to use an STL vector. From my understanding, I need to declare it as vector<Animation*so that I can insert new animations with something like myAnimations.push_back(new Animation(...)); So that's all fine and dandy, but what I can't decide on is how to delete this animation after it's done playing (the explosion should...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
