Hallo,
Does anyone have a (simple?) javascript code for me to
prevent that people take the photo's of my website while
they use the right mouse button.
I know that there are ways around this and people can
still get the picture, but in that case it is much less easier
and only the handy people can get it then. That already
helps.

Hi,
I have included a small listing. The test program opens a panel and
show a bitmap.
What I want is to when the mouse is over the bitmap panel, I want to
trap the left mouse click.
The purpose is to get the position of the mouse pointer on the bitmap.
However, for some reason, the left (I also tried right) mouse clicks
are not intercepted.
I new to Python and wxWindows so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Short of generating my own icons is there a way to get the appearance of a button on
a form but with behavior that is like a regular link?
In particular, I want to be able to right click on a "button" and choose "Open in new
tab" or "Open in new window" (given that the user's browser supports either of these
options).
The handy thing about HTML buttons is that they can have their visible text value set
and then the buttons can have...

A couple of easy questions here hopefully. I've been working on two
different database projects which make use of multiple
forms.
1. Where's the best/recommended placement for command buttons for things
like delete, save, edit, cancel buttons - in the footer, or on the form
detail section?
2. If in the footer, how do you add them to the tab order?

Hi,
I am creating an image-management database. I want my users to be able
to double-click on an image (a preview of what exists in a network
subfolder), and for the code to open the image in its associated
application (say, Microsoft Photo Editor), then wait for the user to
close the window before continuing code execution. I know I can shell
out to whatever application I need, but Shell doesn't seem to have a
"wait" mode on it. I...

I have a continuous form. there is a command button with the following code
for the OnClick event:
DoCmd.OpenForm "frmPlants", , , "PlantsID =" & Me!PlantsID
I click the button and frmPlants opens up with the record that corresponds
to the one on the cont. form.
I put that same code for the OnClick of an image control (i.e. the user
clicks a little icon to open the form instead of a button) and frmPlants

Hi.
I have a gridview in which each row has an image button attached. I
have each button in each row set up to be associated with a DB field.
When I hover above the button it shows me the correct value of the DB
field in a tooltip, so there is no problem there. But ...how do I
access that value? When the user clicks that button I will redirect
him to a new page and I need to use the value as an ID in a
querystring, but cannot figure...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
