All screen fonts defaulting

Has anyone seen this strange behavior? My 97 database accidentally
got converted to 2002. When I converted it back, all fonts on screen
(and in print) seem to be defaulting to MS sans serif. I say seem
because when you look at the font property, it lists the correct font,
but displays as the default until I change the size (or name). Then
it displays properly.

I saw this once before though I can't recall the exact circumstances,
but possibly when a db was corrupt & I had to reimport all the
objects.

Well, the main question is - any way to avoid going through and fixing
all 200+ forms and 700+ reports?

I read in Google Groups (searched "fonts changed sansserif" for groups
*access* and read...

Problem finally solved!

Client reported that in trying to set font sizes in Windows, that MS
Sans Serif font size 8 was missing, but size 10 was available. After he
removed and reinstalled the font, size 8 became available and the
problem was solved.

You might want to go thru some of the posting in google groups for group
access and search for font changes.

I did search for several combinations of words, but nothing comes up

Hi, I have an XML file which I want to present as a HTML table, and I'm looking for a quick way of defaulting all empty elements in my XML file to a nbsp (using the   notation) in my XSL transformation file, so that if I have for example an XML record of <record> <elem1>fii</elem1> <elem2 />

I have a perl script that i use to render a html page. In that page i call out a stylesheet. If the user has a 800x600 display the fonts are really too big. Since screen resolution is a function of the client and I have this javascript ot detect the srecc size: function ck_res() { if ( (screen.width != 1024) && (screen.height != 768) ) {

About a week ago, I upped my screen resolution from 800x600 to 1024x768. From that point on, I started making gradual adjustments to my web site, in which the margins are tailored to 800 pixels wide. Fonts seem too small! Is this a bad habit I'm getting into? By the way, what resolution are you at? -- ============================ - Dave http://members.cox.net/grundage/

A friend of mine pointed out the other day that certain elements on my web site are too small. But in most of what I publish, fonts are at default size or smaller, and my images are easy to see. I am viewing at 800x600 right now by the way, because that's what I can comfortably see. Times New Roman default pitch is what - 12px? With people increasing their screen resolutions, is it possible for "default size to ever become too small in...

Hello everyone, I am designing an application to work with two screen resolutions, 1024x 768 and 800x600. If the user is using a higher resolution the form should have the same size as 1024x768 screen I started building the application in 1024x 768 form size but everything got screwed up when I used the 800x600 screen. So, I decided to set the size of the form in the design mode to 800x600. The screen draws fine but I have a lot of...

A lot of users at my workplace use different screen resolutions, and I build apps to use 1680 x 1050 pixels res by default. But some users are using 800 x 600, and the apps are too large for their screen. I used to write code in Java a few years ago (2005), and you could stretch a form with the mouse and all the controls and fonts would resize to larger or smaller size. Does .Net framework 3.5 support this kind of functionality? Or -...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
