The pop up window has several checkboxes. I'm unable to access the
checkboxes using the handle from window.open. Any way to do this?
var display;
function showSugg(but_id, sugg1, sugg2, sugg3, sugg4, sugg5) {
display=window.open('','_blank','menubar=0,location=no,status=no,directories=no,toolbar=no,scrollbars=yes,height=150,width=190')

All,
myself and another developer have been staring blankly at a screen for
the past 48 hours and are wondering just what stunningly obvious thing
we are missing.
We are trying to load up 2 or more user controls dynamically by adding
to a placeholder defined in page_load. I've included the sample code
for how we are accessing one. The user controls are not rocket science
- just a few text boxes with public accessor properties. We've...

For some unexplained reason, I am suddenly unable to browse to a virtual
directory on my laptop. I have a number of sample websites to which I could
happliy browse up until last week. As of Monday, if I browse to any of the
sites, I get an HttpException saying "The directory does not exist or is not
accessible because of security settings." I honestly have not changed
anything at all.
I have checked and re-checked that ASPNET indeed has...

I am currently trying to add a way to dynamically add the <input
type="file"> to my webpage to allow a user to add as many attachments
as they would like at a given time. However, when I added it using
Javascript, I am unable to access it in my ASP.NET code. I know that
there are plenty of problems that ASP.NET has in this way, and was
wondering if anyone knew a workaround that I could use to get the text
and file information from the...

I've been developing on this machine for months and have created many
ASP.NET applications that connect to various remote machines, mostly
databases.
All of a sudden, I am unable to connect to my SQL Server even though I
have a valid connection string (no, I'm not using integrated security).
This exact connection string works perfectly in WinForms apps.
Anytime I try to connect via an ASP.NET app, I get the familiar message
"SQL...

Hi all,
I'm sure this is simple to answer but I have built a project exited
VB
Express. When I go back into VB Express and open the project no files
appear (but I can open them manually) and when I open my form
designer
it comes in code, I am unable to access the design view as the shift-
F7 function is not there in the view menu.

Whoever can figure this problem out will be a genius. I have a home network
that includes: 2 desktop computers both running on Windows XP and 1 laptop
running Windows Vista. The desktop computers running Windows XP are unable to
go into secure websites, for example, microsoft update, banking bill pay or
almost anything that requires you to enter a passcode. We are having to use
my laptop running Windows Vista to access these websites. We...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
