vertical text in label problems

Hi,
I have a question about vertical text property for labels.
I have set several labels to show vertical text on one of my forms. I
had no problems with them on my desktop computer.

Now I installed the same application on my laptop and the text
disappeared.
The only way I found in order to reveal them was to change the Font to
"Aharoni".
I do not want to use Aharoni. Other computers may not have it
installed, and it doesn't look as nice as Tahoma.

I am using on both computers Win XP and Office 03, with Hebrew
installed. I am not using Hebrew for the above issue at all.

Thanks for any ideas

There is a problem with most Unicode fonts under Windows XP once you turn
the text vertically in Access 2003.

Arial CYR is one of the few that works.

Thanks for the replies.

I tried the Arial CYR and it did work.

Do you know if I can trust that it will always be installed on all or
most machines?

Also, I still wonder why setting the text to be vertical did work on
my other computer with the Tahoma Font and with the same
configurations did not work in my Laptop. Do you have any clue?

Thanks again,
Gilad

I'm not sure where Arial CYR is installed, so I can't comment on that.

IME, with most fonts, Vertical Text:
- works in Access 2000 on Win XP
- does *not* work in Access 2003 on Win XP
- works in Access 2003 on Win Vista.

Personally I use Arial CYR as the workaround for vertical text, as suggested
by Stephen Lebans.

Is there a way, or does anyone know if maybe in CSS3, there is a plan to implement vertical rotated text? Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
