Hello Everyone,
Fairly new to c# here and have a question regarding scrollbars,
particularly a vertical scrollbar.
It looks like my options are restricted for the textbox scrollbars
being that I can enable vertical or horizontal scrollbars for the
textbox and their wrapping but thats it for modifications of the
scrollbar.

Hello,
textBox += someData + "\r\n";
does not scroll the visible text to the end. How do I perform that ?
Also this way seems to me a lot of reallocating memory. Is there better way
to add text to a textbox ?

Hi, I'm using vs2005, .net 2 for a windows application. I have a
richtextbox control on my form that I make it readonly.
1. Do I need to make readonly to be false to append text to it?
2. Even though I chose the Cursor property of the richtextbox to be "No"
but when I run the application I can still click on the RTB and got a Ibeam
cursor among my text. Is there a way to prevent a user being able to click
on the text and get the ibeam...

I don't want to re-invent the wheel and am looking for a simple
implementation of a text viewer or RichTextBox in read only mode that
allows rapid file positioning within large data files without the time
consuming and memory hogging associated with loading the entire file.
Using the thumb to get close and then paging and scrolling to get
exact placement within the file. Perhaps with only a few pages of data
loaded into memory.
