Linked outlook calendar table

Hi everyone,

I have read through all posts on this subject & articles on Microsoft,
etc etc but I am not much clearer and really need pointing to the
right starting point.

I am wanting to my db table to be "synchronis ed" with the outlook
calendar table ie. when an appointment item is changed in my db i is
programaically changed in oulook, and when a n appoinment is changed
in outlook i is updated in my db table.

I have linked my outlook appointments table - though this is little
help due to the non appearance of the start / end dates.

I believe this is done through DAO / ADO but have little understanding
of what this is, and the articles I read seem to assume a base
knowledge that I am missing. I have read and tried to understand some
code samples, but again do not have the full knowledge to comprehend
what they are doing, or even where to put them or how/when they would
work.

If anybody can help me get started learning this, or point me towards
some beginners articles I would much appreciate their help. I am not
looking for the "quick fix" as I am determined to find my way around
and like to know the how/why/when of everything that I am doing in
code.

Many thanks in advance.
