Works fine on the first page of the report but gives #Name on the second and following pages...

Any ideas?

Are you sure that =[Forms]![Frm Report Selector]![StartDate] is not in the Report Header and not the Page Header? If it is in the Report Header it will appear only once.

Does the form remain open when you are moving though the report pages? This command will only work while the form is open.

I think this is your problem.
Can you let us know if this is solved or if you need further help getting the form to stay open while not interfering with the display of the report?
Good luck :)

Hi, Is there a way to meassure the amount of text populating a text field? My project involves creating a way to select a particular report depending on the amount of text. For instance, if five text fields labeled "Serivce Goal 1 ... Service Goal 2", contain only a scanty one sentence, report "A" would be selected; if the text fields contain a whole paragraph, then report "B" would be used.

I store hyperlinks as text in a table like this: Invoice11-21-2003.pdf#file://P:\Finance\PrefVendors\Receipts\Invoice11-21-20 03.pdf I need to run a report that lists the documents - or whatever the display text of the hyperlink is. As it is now, the entire hyperlink appears in the report - I'm trying to display just the document name.

Hello Access Developers, I'd like to know if it is possible to perform a count in an expression that defines a control source. My report is based on a query. In my report, I want a text box to display the number of times a certain value appears in a certain field (i.e. perform a ‘count'). I will be doing this for many values in many fields so do not wish to have scores of queries to build my report.

How can I (if I can) display the sum of a text box values in the Detail in another text box in the page's footer? For example, I have a text box called "txtPoints" in the detail which displays the total points for a current activity. Here's what I have in the control source for the totals...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
