Getting data to Access from Brio and Toad

Brio and Toad are, as I understand them, front end query tools for server
level data. An application I am working on requires that I move data from
these tools to MS Access for reporting. The existing process involves
copying the data to the clipboard and then pasting to Excel and then
importing to Access (ouch!).

Does anyone know if I can either fetch the data directly from the query
tools to Access (perhaps ODBC) or failing that, directly from the clipboard
to access?

All help appreciated.

AFAIK, TOAD is an Oracle query and ddl tool, though I don't have
experience with it. I think it's supposed to be a souped up version of
SQL Plus.

Use ODBC to access Oracle (or whatever c/s dbms it is) tables and views.

Brio is a report writer, which has a similar function to Crystal as far
as I know - I know of it from a couple of colleagues who use the same
CMMS app I do, but like TOAD, I have no experience with it.

Better to use the database data directly via ODBC, IMO.

Hi all, First off, I'm new to the Oracle world so please be gentle on me. Now down to the problem at hand. I support a CAD application that has an Oracle backend. I've been on site at my clients offices and got a dump of data, via TOAD, to bring back to my office. This has given me a file containing a large number of insert statements of the format: Insert into tgds.trip_bodies (ARRIVAL_TIME, ADJUSTED_ARRIVAL_TIME,...

My company uses coldfusion to create web applications and we currently are using TOAD as a front end to creating SQL queries. I was wondering how is Access compared to TOAD on its ability to provide a front end to an Oracle database Also, does Access have the ability to create table Aliases for whenever you create a query in design view and then view it in SQL view (or does it have the ability to assign table aliases at all)

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
