It sounds like an error from Toad itself, not from MSSQL, so I guess you'll
get more help from whoever supplies Toad.

This may be slightly off topic, but this is probably a better place to ask than an Oracle group as folk here are more likely to use the feature I'm asking about. In Toad (Quest Software) there is a button called 'Create a code statement' that turns SQL into something you can use in ASP for building SQL strings: For example if in Toad you highlight the following, and click the button:

Hi Everyone, I recently had to rebuild my test server and decided to install 9i. Done and works fine. Can connect to DB using SQL*Plus. Then installed TOAD on same box and can't connect to DB with TOAD but still OK with SQL*Plus. Below is the client SQLNet log entry when I try to connect with TOAD. ***********************************************************************

Hi, I'm getting the message "NO CREATE statement found to execute" in the procedure edit window of TOAD (v7.3.0.0). The code COMPILED last night and now this morning I get this message. There are no syntax errors since we edited and compiled the stored procedure successfully on the free Toad. I can copy-paste the exact code to a SQL window and it compiled. Also, selecting the stored. proc. from the Schema Browser list compiles with

Have just downloaded Toad for SQL Server, and by accident noticed that decimal and number fields have a dollar sign in the column values, only in Toad, not when I access these tables in Enterprise Manager. These columns in question are all autoincriment fields. Integer fields display correctly. How can I remove this, so that only the number with no dollar sign is showing? They are not money fields. The column in question is defined...

Hi all, After finishing a script in Toad for MSSQL, I saved and closed the file in Toad. I then kicked off our staging process which moves the file from the save location to somewhere else. The staging process choked, coming back with a "file in use" error. After verifying that I had closed the file in Toad, I simply exited out of Toad completely. The staging process was then able to complete the file-move process. Is there anything...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
