I have a report based on a crosstab query that shows monthly automobile sales.
The report is grouped on Make so that it shows the models under each Make. I
want to now get the subtotals by Make and then the total for all for each month.
I find that the control source for the textboxes in the detail section have a
date value such as Jan_03 rather than dollars but when I run the report dollars
appears in the report. Obviously I can't sum up...

I have a field in a report which is filled by a function. This is
because I want the values displayed in a particular way.
The field is filled with:
strVal = Format(ValLow, "$#,###") & " / " & Format(ValHi, "$#,###")
The difficulty lies when the concatenated string is too long to fit on
one line and needs to therefore fit on two lines. The detail section
is CanGrow and CanShrink, every field in the secton is CanGrow and

I have a table with a UPC#, CasesCompleted, TotalHours, standardGoal
(pieces per hour)
I am generating a report that groups by UPC and figures out production
goals. In the Detail section of each UPC, I have a calculated field
that looks like this:
=sum()/sum()/()
This gives me the percentage of production. Each UPC has a different
standardGoal.
My question is: How can I get an average goal in the Report Footer by

Damn this is frustrating. I have used subreports for years and never had
this problem. I have used these things more times than I can remember. Never
have I had this problem. Arrrgggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.....etc and ahhh
This should be simple, but... This is a report for a sales order. Parent
report actually shows the header and detail, detail is not in the subreport.
In the subreport is a breakup of committed product by UseBy date.

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
