numbers, one of the fastest codes as far as I know to produce random
numbers.
Anyways, it's writen in c# and I need to translate it to vb.net.
I tried some translators and I can't get it to work.
Could someone help me?
This is the code:

I know that the standard idioms for clearing a list are:
(1) mylist =
(2) del mylist
I guess I'm not in the "slicing frame of mind", as someone put it, but
can someone explain what the difference is between these and:
(3) mylist =

Hi there,
A few weeks until I begin my journey towards a degree in Computer
Science at Canterbury University in New Zealand,
Anyway the course tutors are going to be teaching us JAVA wth bluej and
I was wondering if anyone here would be able to give me some tips for
young players such as myself, for learning the language.
Is this the best Newsgroup for support with JAVA?

Greetings,
I am using CDO.Message to send email messages from my application. I now
need to send email to existing distribution lists in our Global Address List.
However, our exchange server blocks sending to distribution list (i.e.
distribution list is named MyDistList and its email address is
MyDistList@mycompany.com) from SMTP email.
I have searched in vain for an example of VBA that will extract the email
addresses of members of...

I'm new to Python, and OOP. I've read most of Mark Lutz's book and more
online and can write simple modules, but I still don't get when __init__
needs to be used as opposed to creating a class instance by assignment. For
some strange reason the literature seems to take this for granted. I'd
appreciate any pointers or links that can help clarify this.
Thanks

Im currently in the process of creating a tool that will assist us in making distribution lists. When we create a distribution list manually, we assign an owner in the manage by tab, and to delegate ownership of the distribution lists to a second or thrid user, we add the second and third owner to the security tab of the group, grant the user "send as" rights along with "Read Members" and "Write Members".
Im looking for the code to add these...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

The next Access Europe User Group meeting will be on Wednesday 1 May 2024 starting at 18:00 UK time (6PM UTC+1) and finishing by 19:30 (7.30PM).
In this session, we are pleased to welcome a new presenter, Adolph Dupré who will be discussing some powerful techniques for using class modules.
He will explain when you may want to use classes instead of User Defined Types (UDT). For example, to manage the data in unbound forms.
Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
