Calc field's where field value is empty

In a report's calculated field I have the following code:
=DCount("[OrderID]", "Orders", "[ShipRegion] = 'CA'")
Now I would like to do the same calculation except that the criterium is
that [ShipRegion] = Null.
I have tried all kinds of combinations like
"[ShipRegion] = Null"
"[ShipRegion] = Is Null"
"[ShipRegion] = 'Is Null'"
"[ShipRegion] = ''"
but I can't get it to work.
Anyone an idea?
Thanks,
john

Folks, Perhaps someone can figure this out - this is 'the process of my script' I have a form whereby I can add multiple contacts to a single address. There is only one firstname/lastname/telephone box - when the user clicks the add button, I read the values from the form fields and record them into a hidden text input field. This part works because during debugging, I have converted the <input type=hidden> into a <input type=text>...

Access 2000 I need some help interogatting a table and extracting via ASP the final field in a row which has a value. In other words, I have a maximum of 10 fields but, at the user level he may he only enter values into the first four. I need to ALWAYS extract the final or last field that has a value. In the example below this would be PriceField5 which has a value of $162,000. The user stopped at this field and left the rest blank.

Hi Gurus In my quest in putting my first javascript together, I am now trying to conquer something that seems trivial, but has taken me hours. I would like to format a field in a form once the person has completed it. The format should be "00". For example, if the person puts 1 then it should become 01 and if the person puts 12 in the field then it should stay like that. If the person puts 2004 then it should become 04, and if the...

I was happily coding along, putting some calculation results (rolling annualized rates of return - too compute-intensive to calculate on-the-fly - had tb staged beforehand via a batch job) into Double fields. Now, the clients have just dropped a litle bomb: they want to see "(NA)" if the calculation failed due to insufficient input data. That means our fields can have three kinds of values:

Hi, I need to read an hidden field on the server side (code behind). I can modify the value in Javascript (client side), then call "form.submit();" on the client side. However, on the server side the value is empty. Any idea on the best way to set a hidden field on the client side and read its value on the server side? Thanks. Mike

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
