I have just had to upgrade to Access 2003 as Access 97 EMail (SendObject)
doesn't work when loaded on Windows XP. I'm finding my way around Access
2003 but my biggest problem is getting information. When I bought Access 1.0
many years ago, I got a paper manual and an excellent help file with all you
needed to know. With Access 97 the manual came as a 'Building Applications'
document on the CD and I still had the excellent help. With Access...

Hi,
I can't find anything about a toolkit on Microsoft site or what is
needed to distribute an Access 2003 application (like the SDK w/
Access 97).
I assume this is still possible. What do I need to create the setup
files?

Hi all,
I'm interested in getting the Access Developer's edition.
Here's my question: where do I go to get it? At Microsoft, there's a Access
2003 Developer's Extensions package, as well as some other packages with
mention the .Net framework. ($499 was the price tag on that, which was what I
was expecting for the Developer's edition of Access.)
Also, I have purchased a copy of Visual C# .Net Standard edition and I hope to

I have a user who currently has Access 97 installed on her PC. She
has purchased a new PC and would like to have Access installed on it.
She would like to upgrade her current Access to Access 2003.
When installing the Access 2003 upgrade on the new PC, do I have to
install Access 97 first, then run the Access 2003 upgrade CD? And if
so, do I need any unlocking or any type of codes during the Access 97
installation? Or can I just run...

Last night took the plunge and upgraded to Office 2003 pro, and told
it to get rid of 2000. Realized too late that some programs (such as
FMS Develper Suite) do not yet include the components to work with
2003 version-single compnent ugrades are just too expensive. Speed
Ferret has not yet released a new version to work with Access 2003.
So I need to have Access 2000 back.
Can someone please advise? Can I install only Access 2000 in a...

Hi
Hi
We are currently upgrading from access 97 to office 2003 on site. We
would like to upgrade our access databases to Access 2003 but we wish
to remove Microsoft access software from our end users so that we can
control the creation of databases. Is there a way that our end users
can still use these upgraded access databases without having access
2003 installed on their machines. The mdes will reside on a server so
they can be...

Hey folks!
Before I spend any money on Access 2003, is it co-habitable with Office XP?
Also, can I use the XP Developers Edition to package and deploy and Access
2003 project?
Thanks in advance!

Ok I have searched the MS website for info on this. I am totally
confused.
If I want to deploy an Access 2003 app and allow my users to run it
using Access 2003 Runtime, where do I get the Runtime?
I just purchased Office 2003 Professional. Is Access 2003 Runtime
included with that or not?
It APPEARS that the only way I can get Access 2003 Runtime is to

I'm using VB and an Access 2003. The db was originally created in
Access 2000, but the computer had to have things reinstalled and now
has Access 2003.
So I was wondering if there are any compatibility issues using the two
programs. I know that when using data controls you can select Access
2000 for the connect property. This VB program also uses DAO and not
ADO.
I've been having some weird things happen to the program since using

I do programming in Access 2000 and 2003. I don't have a copy of 2003
myself, though.
I have read about the adp software that comes with Access 2003, that
converts an application to an access front end with a SQL server
backend. It sounds like a good way for me to begin to learn about SQL
server.
I have thought about just shelling out the bucks for a copy of Access
2003, but the adp software is really the only reason. Do the folks

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
