I'm working on a web site for a domestic violence group and these groups always have an "escape" button, which is simply a link to another site. Whether I open this link in the same window, a new window or target="top", the back button will always return me to the domestic violence site, which is what we wat to avoid. Is this possible via PHP? Thank you.

Hi guys, Does anyone know how I can restore a selection created with createRange()? The problem is that I have a function that opens a new window with window.open() which of course makes the current window to lose focus and drop the selection. The same happens if I display an alert message.

I inadvertently deleted all the items from the built-in Access97 Window menu: Tile Horizontally, Tile Vertically, Cascade, etc. Can I somehow get them back without reinstalling Access97 (or creating them as my own custom items)?

The only reason I ask is that no one has made this subject clear or given a definitive answer. What I would like to do is, after turning off all the menus/tbars/etc using the startup options. Upon restarting Access, when an admin is detected (I use a GetSystemUser() function) I want to restore everything so that Access behaves like normal, ie. all menus/tbars/etc show up (only where they are supposed to show up).

What I want to do is have 2 pull down lists, for example a state pull down list and a city pull down list. What I would like to have done is when you select a state from the state pull down list then the city pull down list will populate with all the cities from that selected state. I know that is a lot of data but that is just an example. Or something like when you are looking up cars online they have a make pull down list and a model...

I have a large relational database which has attached to one of my forms at startup; a macro which assigns the current time and date. I must have inadvertently changed the macro and have somehow caused a block to the tools menu and I have lost the database window. Is there a way to recover the database window or at least the tools menu so I can access the startup options and correct the problem?

it looks like this will save many versions of a relationship window, but based on the fact that the same tables are displayed in the relationship window and it will restore versions of what was saved as long as all the tables that were saved are currently shown in the relationship window so if I have 2 tables, employee and customer and if I show just the employee table in the relationship window, I can save it as 'employee'

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies.
