I have a form that is used for adding, updating and deleting records in
a table, everything works fine except that one of the fields uses a
list box, this works fine for adding a new record but will not work for
updating a record, when you click off that record and back on it has
reverted to it's previous value. All the other fields which are
textboxes update just fine.
What is the difference? 1 1167

There is certainly nothing inherent about a ListBox that would prevent it
updating its Control Source (if any).
The first thing to investigate is whether the ListBox on your form is
"bound" to a Field in the underlying RecordSource... in design view, click
on the ListBox, and if the Properties sheet is not visible, right-click and
choose Properties. Then, in the Data Tab, look at the Control Source
property.
If the Control Source does specify a Field, then click on the Events tab,
and see if there is processing specified for any of the Events for the List
Box. Then, click on the Form, and see if there is processing specified for
any of the Events for the Form.

In the context of LATEX, some Pythonista asked what the big
successes of Lisp were. I think there were at least three *big*
successes.
a. orbitz.com web site uses Lisp for algorithms, etc.
b. Yahoo store was originally written in Lisp.
c. Emacs
The issues with these will probably come up, so I might as well
mention them myself (which will also make this a more balanced

VB's more declarative nature of handling events is golden. I'm hoping C#
will acquire this type of deal, in addition to the anonymous delegates.

braces) whereas you look for Handles keyword after method sig, but before
opening brace of the method.
compiler would implicitly build event handling code for all typed

So I have been working on an opensource project for a while, and
decided to really try to make it look better after focusing on the
functionality most of this time. Up to now, I have simply used a
standard ASPX page with minor modifications to it. All of my pages
inherit from a "BasePage.cs" class, that handles common things like
getting the user's information out of the session, determines if a page
should or should not be password...

Hello,
Using url rewritting and ajax.net, I tried to circumvent some potential
problems with postback url using a code from a sample given by Scott.
The idea is to use a control Adapter on htmlform to catch the attribute
'action' wich contains the url where the post will occur and replace it with
a safe url.
Unfortunately, it doesn't works, does something has changed with framework

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
