Hi,
I get the following error "Invalid input parameter values. Check the
status values for detail".
I have a SQL 2005 backend, and an access front end. I have two tables,
MAIN, LOOKUP in my SQL server backend. If I create a view containing
value from table MAIN and enter data into it from a form in access
everything is ok.
However if I make a vew with both tables MAIN and table LOOKUP I get
the error above. Table MAIN contains some data and a foreign key
decoded by table LOOKUP.
Anyhow does anyone know how this can be fixed?
Thanks alot.

When I'm in SQL I can enter data into the view.
However when I"m in access looking into the same view...can't enter
data...I"ll try setting unique table property..see if that works.

Just tried the unique table property and nothing...I can't enter data

Question...what does it matter what I have on the form, if the View in
access won't allow me to input data? I put all the keys on the form and
am getting the same result.

Hi, I'm a bit confused ... when would I rather write an database
application using MS Access and Visual Basic and when (and why) would I
rather write it using Visual Studio .Net?
Is it as easy in Visual Studio to create reports and labels as it's in
Access?`
The advantage of VS.net is that not every user needs Access, right? And
that would eliminate the Access version problem as well I guess.

Hello, I'm looking for assistance with the Access object model. I know
this is VB, but I'm building an Office Add-using C# directed at Access

mainly lies in knowing the quirks of the Access object model.
Basically, I'm looking for a method of determining if an Access database

Morning All
I have been developing and deploying with Office 2000 for about 3 years, mainly Access based
programs and although I have gotten used to it's quirks, I am starting to feel that I should be
switching to Office 2002 or maybe 2003
It would mean upgrading a lot of existing work, not to mention 3rd party tools that I have bought
over the years. I'll switch if there are any real benefits but if it is just marginally better I'll...

Outlook 2003 -> Access -> Crystal Reports ...via VB 6.0 code
Basically I have a VB 6.0 project working on my machine.
All with the click of a button , the Vb code extracts rows from the
Calender folder of Outlook 2003, and makes a table in Access based on
these rows and then a crystal report is created.

We are running an Access 2000 MDB with a SQL 7 back end. Our network guy is
upgrading to Windows Server 2003 and wants to upgrade Office and SQL Server
at the same time. We're moving to SQL Server 2005, and, since he already has
licenses for Office Pro 2002, he wants to upgrade to that.
I've been saying that we need to upgrade to Access 2003, not 2002, even if
Office is kept at 2002. We are also looking to do a fair amount of...

Hello everyone,
This is my first attempt at getting help in this manner. Please
forgive me if this is an inappropriate request.
I suddenly find myself in urgent need of instruction on how to
communicate with a MySQL database table on a web server, from inside
of my company's Access-VBA application. I know VBA pretty well but
have never before needed to do this HTTP/XML/MySQL type functions.

Hello
I downloaded Office 2007 for this reason :
It seems, once again, that it is impossible to save any modification
done in a VBA library, from the main project in Access.
The save button remains desperatly grayed.
It also seems impossible to open the library in another Access instance

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
