Problem using window API Access 2003

Hi All,
Using the instructions given from
http://www.mvps.org/access/forms/frm0042.htm , I am trying to align 2 forms
when the second form is opened. The problem I have is that when compiling
the project, "Public Property Get Parent() As clFormWindow" throws up as
"User-Defined type not defined" error.

I have imported the class module from the web page.
I'm guessing that I need to set a reference but do not know where to start
:o(

Could someone offer any advice?

TIA,

Mark

Tom your an absolute star.....I did make it a class module (although I have
no idea about the difference between a standard module and a class module)
but due to my ignorance, I never named it clFormWindow!!! !!

Many thanks,

Mark

Hi there, I sincerely hope that someone out there can help. I have two instances of the SQL 2000 Desktop Engine running. One is on my local machine for development and the other is on another machine on our network which is the production environment. I have built an Access 2003 front end application which connects to this database. This works fine locally, as you would expect. I successfully installed the database on the...

I have a user/pc specific problem in access. This doesn't occur on any other ( windows xp pc) that I have used the ..mbd on. This involves a query that's using a range of dates as a parm. This query uses a form for the date range to be entered. The date form uses a macro to verify that the dates are entered.

Hello to all I have a huge problem with Access 2003 with SP1, installed on WinXP Pro SP2 with all the current updates. I've tried everything including installing Office again, and again and again. I can't create any new form using wizard based on data of existing tables. That is valid for reports too. Whenever I start any of the wizards to create for example a form based on a table that has around 40 entries, wizard displays only first...

Hi, Because the blind are unable to use a mouse, keyboard navigation is key. A major difficulty is that not all windows forms controls are keyboard 'tab-able' or 'arrow-able' or have "tab order". The application is built and the next step is to create the custom JAWS (Freedom Scientific)screen reader script to read the application. The application uses the accessibility properties for controls provided by C#. JAWS reads properties...

Hi all, I have a really odd problem with some Visual Basic .NET 2003 code; I have a program that creates a number of windows which contain RichTextBox, Timers (disabled) and menus. The code runs fine and creates the windows as required, BUT if the program is left to do nothing for several hours, when it is brought back into focus it generates an exception error (Object reference not set to instance of an object - this always coincides...

I am having a serious issue with my MDI child windows. This is with a large VB.NET application that I ported over to VS 2005 from VS 2003. The problem is that, if the child window is maximized and then closed, it produces the following error message: Cannot access a disposed object Object name:'icon' in source System.Drawing And then the whole system crashes. Again, this ONLY occurs if the MDI child window is maximized within the MDI...

Hi All, MS Access 2003 - using a split database. I am using a switchboard. I have set in Options to "Compact on Close". What code do I put behind the Exit button on the switchboard so the database Compacts the FE on Close and closed the MS Access Window? If I just use "Application.Quit acQuitSaveAll" it does not compact the database.

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
