I have just had to upgrade to Access 2003 as Access 97 EMail (SendObject)
doesn't work when loaded on Windows XP. I'm finding my way around Access
2003 but my biggest problem is getting information. When I bought Access 1.0
many years ago, I got a paper manual and an excellent help file with all you
needed to know. With Access 97 the manual came as a 'Building Applications'

I've seen plenty of articles on this topic but none of them have been
able to solve my problem.
I am working with an Access 97 database on an NT4.0 machine, which has
many Access reports.
I want my users to be able to select a report, click on a command
button on a form, which will then automatically create the report as a
pdf file and save it to the user's machine.

Hello everyone,
This is my first attempt at getting help in this manner. Please

I suddenly find myself in urgent need of instruction on how to
communicate with a MySQL database table on a web server, from inside

We get more and more data done in excel and then they want it imported
into access.
The data is just stupid....values of 1 to 5 we get a lot of 0's ok

we get colums that are formatted for number and then half way down
they are changed to text.
OR the famous ok now everything in red is ---- and everything in blue

When we pull all the BE's over to SQL and the FE's on Sharepoint (.net)
surely we don't have to change every user face, we should be able to use the
same FE in as before as now on Sharepoint?

Hi
Have just installed IIS7 on Vista and am trying to access a .mdb file
through ASP. Getting server error.
I think the problem is in the file permission. Under XP Pro/IIS6 is used to
have to set the .mdb file security via windows explorer to give
IUSR_machinename full permissions on this file for anonymous web access.
Cant seem to do this with Vista explorer - says object cannot be found.
