Access Intrinsic Constants

Lo each,

I want to make a text file containing all of Access
intrinsic constant names and their decimal values for A2k to
A2k3.

Can't say I'm all that keen on typing it out so wonder if
anyone can point me at such a beastie online or something I
could copy and paste from.

TIA.

I've seen plenty of articles on this topic but none of them have been able to solve my problem. I am working with an Access 97 database on an NT4.0 machine, which has many Access reports. I want my users to be able to select a report, click on a command button on a form, which will then automatically create the report as a pdf file and save it to the user's machine. I am using Adobe Acrobat (5.0 I think) and have Adobe Distiller as a

Hi, I am automating Access reports to PDF using PDF Writer 6.0. I've created a DTS package to run the reports and schedule a job to run this DTS package. If I PC Anywhere into the server on where the job is running, the job runs sucessfully, PDF files got generated, everything is good. If I scheduled the job to run at the time that I am not logged into the server, Access is not able to print to the printer. The error is pretty...

We've had a very large A97 app running fine for the last seven years. I've just converted to SQL Server backend, which is being tested, but meanwhile the JET based version, running under terminal server, has suddenly started running very slowly. The network engineer has thrown up his hands and said "It's Access 97". I've checked out lots of things including the Oplocks setting and other stuff from this NG, and I think I've done everything...

Access 97 has left examples out of much of HELP that was included in Access 2.0. Anybody know why? Or better still, where to find examples. For example, Access 97 has no example code in its help section on the GoToRecord Action. Ver 2.0 had all this... GoToRecord ActionAccess Basic

I just had a google through this NG but have not seen mention of Erik Rucker's blog entry and the new Jet: http://blogs.msdn.com/access/archive/2005/10/05/477549.aspx mentioned by Mike Gunderloy http://www.larkware.com/dg4/TheDailyGrind726.html Aside from the Sharepoint feature extension, amazing news.

I have finally nagged more work out of the non-profit organization that I'm trying to do volunteer work for. The following code begins a tiny form that is part of the project that I'll be working on. It uses several VB intrinsic constants whose meaning and significance I don't know. I couldn't find a list of these constants and their definitions. Can anyone direct me to one? If not, will someone please define the ones in this snippet...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
