I currently have a Form with Option buttons (to give you the option of
sorting by name, or by Field, etc), these are referenced in a module
which then formats the report contingent on the option chosen (i.e.
the title changes to say "Sorted by Name" or "Sorted by Field"). For
one of the options, "Sort by Field" I would not only like to have them
sorted by Field alphabetically, but I would like to Group them and
have a Group Header and...

By - Ascending - Group Header & Footer
supplier - Ascending - Group Header only
SuppliersModel - Ascending - Group Header & Footer
I need to count distinct numbers of supplier and supplier model on the By
group footer. I tried to create a group header each for the supplier and
suppliermodel fields. Add a text box each in the group header:
Name: txtSupplier or txtSupplierModel
Control Source: =1

Hi,
I must be missing something blindingly obvious.
If I don't want a page header to appear on a report header I set 'Not with
Rpt Hdr/Ftr' in the report. But I don't want the Page Header where I have a
group header. Wher can I set this??
I'm sure I'll be embarassed by a simple answer ... but I can't find it.

I have a report with three columns, accross then down, and two groups.
Currently the group headers are only one column wide and appear in the left
hand column. How can I make the group header be centered accross all columns?

I have a grouped report with a subreport in the group footer. The report is
set to start a new page for each group. All the labels for fields are in the
group header and there is a subreport in the group header also. The
subreport in the group footer is based on a query. I have code in the group
header that runs a function whose value becomes part of the criteria in the
query for the subreport in the group footer. The value of the function...

I used the Report Wizard to create a report that is generally working
pretty well.
However, it set up the structure as follows:
Report
Page Header
Group 1 Header - Header for the group
Group 2 Header - This has my column headings
for the details.

Hi folks.
I need to create a report that has a Group Header that pulls certain data
from the Detail section. It's something like this:
+--Report----------------------------------------

+--Group Header----------------------------------

| Codes: XYZ, XXX, YYY

Hello all
I have a report where I have two nested groups.
I know there are only three standard options for running sum: None,
Over Group and Over All.
I have a MyTextBox in detail section where the data is summed over
group.
But the data is summed over the second group. When a new group begins
MyTextBox value is resetting to zero. I need a running sum over the
first group so when another second group begins MyTextBox value will

I have a report that uses a query as the recordsource.
One field in the query is called Header which can be either Approved,
Received, Not Taken, Closed Out.
On the report footer - I total each of these by
txtTotalApproves = Sum(IIF(Header="Approved",1,0)). Then I reference
these in the report header as a summary page at the TOP of the
report.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
