Hello!
I have a report that includes a subreport. They are linked together by
a common ID field. The subreport contains 6 controls, 5 of them text
boxes with a control source and one of them is a list box based on a
query.
The text boxes that have a control source show the correct data for
multiple records of the subreport but the listbox is only queried once
and it does not change for other records.

Hello,
I currently have an Access 2003 ADP Report/Subreport set up in which I have
12 subreports in a single main report that are located in a group header
called 'PermnumHeader' (Permnum would be the same as a numeric 'StudentID').
All subreports initially have their visible property set to 'No'.
I have a macro that evaulates the current value of a field in the detail
section of the main report called 'Grade' and a field in the same...

Hello all,
I'm using Access 2000. I have a subreport control which loads a
report in the detail section of a main report. I need to keep a count
of each item price in the subreport and place it in the Report footer
of the main report. Each post i've read on this seems to not work
and/or give me the same problems the other posters are having: a box
coming up asking for parameter values. Thanks in advance for your
help.

I've got an A2K report showing students and their costs. Student info
is in the main report and costs are in a subreport for each student.
The user inputs the program desired then only those students in that
program are printed.
I want the subreports headings to print only for the first student on
the page. Is there a way to suppress printing of the headings on
subsequent students on that page?
I tried the following in both the...

What are some of the differences between subforms and subreports?
Here's my problem: I've got a form that lists a group of technicians.
The main form lists basic information (name, job title, etc) while a
subform lists specific ideas each technician has developed. The form
and subform are linked via the technician's name. This works fine-each
technician is listed, and the subform lists the ideas associated with
each person.
I've also...

I tried to fix a problem for a client today in which report sections and even
individual text controls in some of their reports are being split across page
boundaries. Of course, I was thinking the answer was just going to be setting
some Keep Together properties to Yes. Alas, it was not to be.
It turns out that the report in question is actually a combination of 2 other
reports based on different tables. The reports should follow one...

I know this is kind of a weird question, but is there anyway to give a
subreport control of a main report?
I posted my situation earlier about having drawings print out after a
group. I have a report grouped by part group that lists the part
numbers needed from that group. I have force new page after each
group. This gives me a list of parts on each page. I want to print
the needed drawings after the groups/list of parts. There are...

Hi everyone,
I have been searching 3 days stright for an answer, with no luck, so I
decided to ask it out loud myself.
Here is my problem.
I am using a report as a catalog for my company. The main report holds
our products with details (each detail is a product based on our
products table). Some of the products show up twice on the main report
(as they have diffrent specifications per line). I thought that instead
of putting the...

I'm having some difficulty and I can't for the life of me figure
out why. I have a main report, rptMain, that contains a report
header (displays the AppTitle), 3 group headers (one is a
header for the "report version" and is being used for a cover
sheet, one is a category header, and the other is an item header),
about 6 subreports in the Details section, 2 non-empty group
footers, a page footer and a report footer.
The 6 subreports in...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...
