Choosing the correct event

Somewhat confused about which event to choose. When moving from a Password
form to a MainMenu form should I use the Activate, Open or Load event to
pull in the MainMenu form. Really not clear when to use each of these
events.

Secondly when the MainMenu is loaded how do I unload the Password screen?

Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

None of the above.

Use the BeforeUpdate event of the password textbox to validate
your password, (cancel if bad), then the AfterUpdate of the
password control to open your MainMenu, followed by the close
statement for the password form.

Password screen?
See above.
Many thanks for your help. Much appreciated.

Hi, I'm very fresh to PostgreSQL, coming from Oracle. I want to developp web applications based on apache and postgresql. Is there an equivalent of OWA server (Oracle Web Application server) for postgresql. Shortly, OWA provides an apache module and a set of stored procedures/functions that generate html pages. A simple example could be the following procedure :

I want to display a column in a datagrid such that each item/row in that column acts as a hyperlink. Further, when I click on the hyperlink, it doesn't redirect to another page or even to itself. Rather it "POSTS" pack to itself, and fetches the values in the entire row into the textboxes displayed on the same page outside of the data grid. >From my understanding of this, I believe I have two courses I could follow.

Hello. There maybe an simple answer to this, but sometimes one get a strange blindness when working intensely on one single problem. I'm using ASP.NET 2003, building pages that include 3 user controls (banner, top-menu and sub-menu). The top-menu contains like five asp:buttons. Further down the form there is search field with another asp:button. And I naturally want this button to act as submit button in the sense that when

Upfront disclaimer - I am a relative newbie, just starting out learning about PHP, mostly by researching, installing and playing with different scripts. I am looking for a host that will provide the right environment for this - running a wide variety of PHP applications. I realise that security is also important, but for now flexibility is more important to me. Note that I'm **not** looking for people to recommend hosting companies, I...

Hi, I've got an issue where I've created a prototype that contains 2 methods, and a few private variables. The first method simply registers the second method to be an event handler for the mousedown event. This prototype is instanced for each instance of a server control. Basically it's an asp panel and for each one on the aspx webpage, an instance of my JavaScript prototype is created. Okay, so, when the prototype is instanced ( var...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
