kreepsss, that's much too much and just too very very

I suggest buying a book, and starting on page 1. There's just no way to
answer that question.

but if that is too much, try: ctrl + f

listen u didn't got my point i mean if i can create for example a text
box and enter for example the name of a contact and then next to it
press search and when i press search it will give me then a list of
matching values... for example :
i have a text box where i insert Mario.... and i press search ... the
result will be for example all the name which start with M, A & R....
i don't know if u got my point of view...
i am thanksfull for your re-ply :D

yes, it's very possible - there are quite a few approaches to it
aswell, ranging in complexity from ctrl + f to a vb search looping
through multiple recordsets. but you need to be more clear about what
or rather "Where" you are searching. is it just one field? or are you
looking to search through all the the fields on a bound form - or all
the fields in all the records of a bound form? is the search button on
the form you are searching - or are you indeed searching through tables
and returning multiple matches in a query format???

Anyway, I am guessing that the command "DoCmd.find Next ..." will
probably get you where you want to go if your search is to be form based

I would like to thank for you work and replies in fact i found a way
that allows me to do what i am thinking about ... i created a table
containing the following :
ID, Song Name, Artist, Album, Genre.
then from this table i created a QUERY where i have inserted the
following values from the table above and under the value of SONG NAME
in critica i wrote Like "*" &[Which Song Do You Want?]& "*", then i
transformed the Query into a form ... and this was what i wanted to
create :D
@ last i knew how!
thank for your replies
kreps

Hi, we have some major GC issues at present with a system we're trying to put live. It's a live calculation engine that's distributed across about 30 Java server processes. A set of processes called objectservers sit between the core infra and a Sybase DB. Two of the main objectservers are set up with 2Gb Heaps as they need to cache large amounts of objects and accept 500-600 incoming RMI connections when heavily loaded. We're running the...

Hi everyone, I am rather new to Java beans. Just picked up a book last night and started reading about them. I am building an application that allows a user to define objects with dynamic properties. Something similar to a java hash table. One can add new properties at runtime and remove them as well. I have a really fancy third party property inspector available to me that I would very much like to reuse. This inspector uses...

I posted a similiar question in this newsgroup already and got an answer which I already knew but didn't get the answer I was looking for so I am reposting the code and question differently in the hope that someone could help me out. As said in an earlier post I am new to c++, this is alot harder to do than VB. I am for the most part self taught with what I already know and looking to learn more. The book I am using to teach myself from...

Hi, does anyone know why this: <a onclick="insertatcaret(window.opener.document.formname.fieldname,'<td class="header">')">text</a> returns a "Unterminated String Constant" error message in IE 6.0 but if I take out the double quotes around header it does not? I need double quotes around header, I thought this was possible in javascript so long as the pair of double quotes is surrounded by a pair of single quotes.

I am working on device that utilizes a Motorola 68HC16 microcontroller. I am using an old unsupported piece of crap Whitesmith's / Intermetrics / Tasking compiler. The embedded compiler business was quite insestual for while wasn't it? I need to write putchar so that printf can function properly. Anyway, the compiler comes with just a shell of a putchar routine. It literally returns the character you passed to it and nothing else. That is...

I've got a fairly simple application implementation that over time is going to get a lot bigger. I'm really trying to implement it in a way that will facilitate the growth. I am first writing a WinForms interface and then need to port that to a web app. I am kinda stuck on a design issue and need some suggestions / direction. Basically I have a business layer that I want to use to process any dataentry logic (row focus changes, data...

I help manage a large web site, one that has over 600 html pages... It's a reference site for ham radio folks and as an example, one page indexes over 1.8 gb of on-line PDF documents. The site is structured as an upside-down tree, and (if I remember correctly) never more than 4 levels. The site basically grew (like the creeping black blob) ... all the pages were created in Notepad over the last

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
