Hi,
I have a small online survey in two parts designed to allow users to
rank a few organisations that they have dealings with from a large
list of organisations. I want the users to be able to rank a number
of organisations at the same time rather than going through a form for
each one.
At the moment the survey has two pages. The first page allows the user
to select a number of organisations from the list. This selection is

I've beaten my head againts this for two weeks and would appreciate
any help. Am running Dreamweaver 2004 MX asp pages with MS Access 2000
and then 2003 and received same problems!
I've rebuilt pages etc. etc.
Insert and update work, but updating of records with data in the memo
field seem to crash/corrupt Access--but only on those records.
The problem seems to narrow down to updating a record's memo field. It

Hi all,
<bitching and moaning section>
I am asking for any help I can get here... I am at the end of my tether... I
don;t consider myself a genius in any way whatsoever, but I do believe I
have a logical way of thinking that has served me well during my years of
application development with various tools...
But having been working with VB.NET now for close to a month... I am
beginning to doubt my abilities...

Hi,
I seem to be having a problem with a DataAdapter against an Access database.
My app deletes 3 records runs a da.update(dt) where dt is a data.Datatable.
I then proceed to update a list to reflect that the 3 items have been
deleted only to discover that the 3 items appear, however when I click on
them to display their information which runs a datareader over the same
database it appears that the data has now gone.
I wondered whether...

I have a pivotchart which I cause to take a huge list of people's test
percentiles and calculate the average for each year. I then display the
average above each bar. The problem is that there are too many numbers
after the decimal place for each figure. I went into the properties and
changed the number format to "fixed" but it doesn't give me the option
to change the number of decimal places that are used (it does every

I don't care how one suggests I do it, but I've been searching for days
on how to implement this concept. I'm trying to use some kind of grid
control (doesn't have to be a grid control, whatever works best) to
display a dropdown menu of fields populated from table tblInvoiceData.
This control also includes a textbox which the user can input a value.
These two columns are side by side and not in a vertical layout.
The user then clicks on...

Hello can anyone provide me with a way I can access the members of the PivotTable Property in Access 2007?
I am writing an Office 2007 Training application and one of the objectives in Access is to create a pivot table using certain fields in the correct axis. In Access 2003 we were able to use forms.PivotTable to test the axises and which fields were attached to them however I have been unable to get any deeper than returning a generic...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
