Hi,
I have been using access 2000 for two years on WINDOWS NT to display dynamic
aweb page using ASP
My ISP has now changed to Windows 2003, and I am having major problems
displaying information from MEMO fields within the Access 2000 database. I
have not had any problems before displaying MEMO fields on NT and have tried
various tips to resolve this issue but no luck so far. I was wondering if
anyone had come accross a similar...

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to parse/format a memo field within a report.
The Access 2000 database (application) has an equipment table that
holds a memo field. Within the report, the memo field is printed within
the detailed area. The problem is, the apllication is not setup
properly, thus the users are entering data within the memo field as:
location1 1/1/2005 1/1/2006

Hi,
I have a form set up (frm_enter_action) which has an unbound text box on it (description) allowing users to enter standard text. This field is then used to insert a record into a table (tbl_cases_actions) using the following SQL statement :-
INSERT INTO (description) Values (Forms!frm_enter_action.description)
The text appears to be truncated in the table at 512 characters when brought into the description field, which is set as...

Hello,
Please how do I convert formatted text in a word document into markedup text in a memo field in MSaccess, and retain the formatting. I have created a form to display the contents of a word document, and intend to use Leban's RTF2 control to view the file's contents. Your response will be most valued.

Hello! We are using Access 2000, SQL Server 2000. We are using a
simple append query to append data from an unbound form field to an
SQL Server linked table. The field in Access is a memo field, and in
SQL Server it is an nText field. However, some of the text gets
garbled at the end of long entries (approx. 510 characters.) An
example of this follows:
The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog. The...

Hello,
I was wondering if someone might be able to help me. I’m a little stuck as to how to put the results of a query into a memo field.
I run a ski chalet company and I have a bookings database. In this I store all the emails that go back and forth with my guests, these are stored in a memo field.
I’m trying to make a system to template my emails for me. Ideally I’d like it to template and email that has a list of all the extras...

I have a Salary table(The one side) and a Deductions table(The Many side).
Whenever the salary is entered I want to calculate and store the deductions in the deductions table.
I know calculations should be done in queries but I want to store the calculated deductions because the tax system changes pretty often so I want individual tax calculations for each paycheck to be stored.
I can write code use macros and design queries.
I am...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
