I am trying to do select all of the records in a table where they data
has not expired.
The table contains two fields Subject (varchar(100)) and ExpiryDate
(Date).
I am getting all of the records returned when I execute:
$sql = "select * from tbl where ExpiryDate > " . date("Y-m-d");
mysql_query($sql);

Anyone worked with Verisign's Payflow Pro object in ASP? We've had it
up and running for weeks without a problem and recently we've started
to get some undesirable behavior: at the point where the component
sends the transaction data, about 1 in 4 times it will go through, but
otherwise it will sit and spin until the script or the browser session
times out. may or may not be related to a server maintenance change.
I'm not a server...

I'm new to DB2 and I need to write a query that will allow me to find
specific dates instead of me having a date range asked for, I want it to be
calculated.
I've done this in Access by coding visual basic scripts and making monthly
reporting automatic. No longer having to change 15 queries to match
specific date ranges for the previous month is lots more efficient.
The way I coded it in Visual Basic is to make the begin date to equal the...

Hello All
I'm in the middle of moving a MS Access DB to a MySql backend.
I have figured out about 90% of the problems I have faced, execpt
for this one.
I have 3 Queries, which pull records depending on a date range.
(Today,Last 7 Days,Next 7 Days) The one I'm having problems with
is the "Last 7 Days" Query.

I have a customer that had developed an Access97 application to track
their business information. The application grew significantly and
they used the Upsizing Wizard to move the tables to SQL 2000. Of
course there were no modifications made to the queries and they
noticed significant performance issues. They recently upgraded the
application to Access XP expecting the newer version to provide
performance benefits and now queries take...

I have been coding with ASP for some time now. I am using an ACCESS
database. I am in the UK and wish to use DD/MM/YYYY format for dates.
I have had no end of problems and possible solutions to dates such as 1/8/05
being interpreted in the wrong way.
I have been given many suggestions (setting LCID, submitting dates in long
format etc. etc.)
Is there any definitive sloution or tutorial available? This is driving me

Hi,
imagine there's a WEB application reading data from an Oracle database
to visualize in using DataGrids in the clients browser. Yes, sounds
simple, just create OracleConnection + OracleCommand + DataAdapter,
bind a DataGrid to the DataAdapter, that's it.
Problem with that approach might be the hardcoded CommandString of the
OracleCommand. Whenever somebody requests query string changes you have
to adapt the C# code, to recompile and...

I need to make certain date selectable in a calendar control depending
on records found in a database. For example, if the 10/20/2006 and
11/20/2006 records exist in the database, then only enable and
highlight thoese two days in the calendar control. Also, I need to
disable all weekends. Is this doable? How do I do this in the
calendar control's DataBinding, Load, or PreRender event. Thanks.

Hello,
I am a student who has developed at database for the Pioneer Cemetery that adjoins our school. I am very inexperienced with Access. I use an input mask to add burial dates mm/dd/yyyy. The information is sometimes incomplete; we may have just a year or month. I can't seem to make the entries dates instead of just text. I would like to be able to make queries that would generate reports such as all those who died during the influenza or TB...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Adolph will...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
