Reports preview ok, but print in top-left 1/16 of paper

Is that something I control in Access or is it a problem with the
printer? Can I, in code, force it to print normally sized?
If the user prints it a 2nd time, it prints normal size.

If you need more info, please post and let me know. Thanks.

(Oh, and it's not all users, just 1 or 2. Windows 2000.)

The only time I saw an issue like this, it ended up being a bad printer
driver.

At that time, the driver had just been released, and reverting to an older
driver fixed the problem. That's a couple of years back, so you will
probably find that updating the bad printer driver will solve this issue.

Hello, i recently installed a program that uses reports on our citrix(win2000) server. The problem with the program is, is that the tmp files dont have unique names. That can cause errors when two users print at the same time. I wanted to prevent the errors from happening so i adjusted the REPORTS60_TMP registry key to %USERPROFILE%, but now reports gives me a REP0118 error(cannot create temp file).

We've got an old VB6 application which has 9 Crystal Reports it can print. These 9 reports are considered by our users to be in essence one "report", in the sense that they are all related and they cannot make their business plans without all 9 reports. However, they really are 9 separate reports, 7 of which have sub-reports in them. One of my colleagues has been working on converting them from the VB6 app, to .RPT files which can be...

Has anyone had this happen to them? I'm writing an application in C# using VS2005. Part of my application requires that I use Crystal Reports to make some reports to print out. Anyway, here's the buggy part... While working on a Crystal Report in VS2005, I'll drag my data fields onto the report and try to line them up as best as I can. Then I'll drag and select the fields I want to line up, right-click, choose Align, then Bottom (or...

I have a form that allows the users to select/highlight reports in a list that they want to preview/print. There are about 30 reports and when they only select a few it works fine. However, if they select all the reports to preview, then about 1/2 way through it gives a 3014 error (can not open any more tables). The reports all have queries in which some build temp tables. Is there any way I can run some statement part way through to close...

*sigh* I can't get this to work. My program fills all the values into an Excel spreadsheet- no problems there. What I'd like to do is a print preview/print function. I can't seem to get my code right, all I get are blank pages in the print preview box. Dim oExcel As Object = CreateObject("Excel.Application") oExcel.Workbooks.Open("C:\DailyLogs\DailyLog.xlsx") PrintPreviewDialog1.Document =...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
