How do you stop ONLY the 'Window' menu from appearing when my programs

Either programitically or through a setting...

Thanks in advance...

After you create the mde file, open it and go to "View - Toolbars -
Customize". When it opens, press the right mouse button on "Window" menu
and select "Delete".

Sorry, but modifying a built-in toolbar or menu only affects your PC, not anyone
else you send the file to. To control menu and toolbar access it is best to use
the Startup options to disable access to all of the built-in ones and then
replace them with your own.

Visual Studio 2003 C# Windows: I have a tree view control as my main menu control down the left side of my application. This has 2 Parent Nodes on it (Jobs and Employees). beneath these 2 main functions I have 2 sub functions under each("Add Job", "View Jobs" and "Add User", "View Users"). I have theses subfunctions grouped in a TabControl, so there are 2 TabControl objects on my main screen, each with 2 pages on. When the user...

Hi everyone, Hoping there are some .js/browser experts out there that can help with this weird problem. I have made a swap div routine and applied the events to menu buttons with a closer layer behind the menus. The closer div has a lower index than the submenu divs so it appears behind them. The closer div contains a transparent gif with an event applied to it to close all of the divs when moused over.

Ok, I have finally decided that there is ONE big thing about VB.NET (not sure if this same thing exists in C# yet) that really ticks me off. Either I am missing the point here or I have not found what I need to accomplish my need. I am creating a Windows forms user control and am inheriting from System.Windows.Forms.UserControl. There are several properties that are part of the Usercontrol class that I do not want to expose so I am...

Hi People, How do you go about hiding the database window. The reason for doing this is that sometimes have to manually add data to tables. I have a fully interatctive menu system from which you can show the 'database window', the same button that you have to press to show the database window opens a small modal form which has one button which will return you to the menu system, but I also want it to close the database window!

Access2k non runtime. In a previous post, I mentioned that I wanted to hide the Access 'Menu Bar' from view. That means that I DO NOT want to be able to see the MenuBar, even as a momentary flash during the load of my project! I thought I had accomplished this using the: CommandBars("Menu Bar").Enabled = False In conjunction with a custom blankmenu. But, as it turns out, it removed the default menuBar from Access itself. This is...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
