Capturing Forms

Greetings all,

I have recently created a database that functions as an inventory analysis
tool for the department I work in. Recently, there has been a user
requirement to have functionality to export images of the main form (it uses
graphs and tables that are dynamically created) into Word documents to form
part of financial submission documents. The most obvious method to do this
would be to take a screenshot and paste it into Word, but I was wondering if
there was an easier, automated way of doing this. I have checked out the
use of SendKeys to print screen, but applications can't accept that, which
leaves me at a dead end.

Any suggestions, or advice you could give would be most gratefully received.

Regards, and thanks in advance of any assistance,

Andi

When using the command SendKeys "{PRTSC}" nothing happens. According to

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...thsendkeys.asp

applications can't accept the Print Screen key from SendKeys.

Try the code here:
http://www.devx.com/vb2themax/Tip/18341
Although it's written for VB6.0 and earlier, I think it should all work fine
in VBA (Access).

Hello, I have been playing with various Googled solutions for capturing the <Enter> key to suppress form submission. My first question is whether anyone has a script that works in all common browsers? The script bellow is IE only. It fails FF 1.0 and NN 7. Also, if I can trap the keypress I would like to use it to tab to the next tabindex.

Hello, Python regular expressions must not have more than 100 capturing groups. The source code responsible for this reads as follows: # XXX: <fl> get rid of this limitation! if p.pattern.groups > 100: raise AssertionError( "sorry, but this version only supports 100 named groups"

I am trying to capture the Windows Authenticated username, but I want to be able to capture the login name that exists in IIS, not Windows. In order to enter my company's intranet through the internet, they have to login. I want to be able to capture that login versus their Windows login because I need to know who they are from any computer rather than only their computer. Any ideas? Thanks

Hey guys, I have 2 events on a windows forms datagrid, the mouse move as well as the double click events. What's happening is that when I double click on a row in the grid, the mouse move event gets triggered and the double click is not identified at all. Is there any way I can invoke the double click when the mouse move also exists?

So, my problem is that i have to get picture from this site (the one with code on it), but I can't figure out how to do that. Picture is generated from php code, and I can't find way to save that image. Now, my web browser control (axWebBrowser) is hidden on the form and there's problem with capturing hidden controls. I found only capturing visible forms, but i need to capture content of hidden control.

I create email forms in ASP for my company, and have a question about capturing the users login information to keep them from having to enter their name on every form. I am hoping to pre-populate the login information into a form field. Can someone give me a general idea of how this can be done, and what I make need to be aware of. I also will be asked in the future (near future) about securing the forms as far as the information...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
