A2KReportSpecs. mde as reference in XP runtime

I've got the Stephen Lebans Report Utilities add in as a reference
(A2KReportSpecs .mde ) so that I can export Access 2002 reports to rft
instead of Snapshots.
It works fine in my app in both mdb and mde formats.
When I create an XP Runtime, I can't get it to work with the mde. If I
create a runtime using the mdb (which I won't distribute for security
reasons), it works fine.
I presume it is a referencing problem, but how do I get around it?
The runtime mde opens OK, but when I try to generate the rtf, I get the
following error msg:

"The format that enables you to output data as Microsoft Excel, rich text
format, MSDOS Text or HTML file are missing or incorrectly registered in the
Windows registry."

Bob can you export to Snapshot format from a standard Runtime only
install? I think that it the issue here, not my code itself per se.

Stephen,
Thanks for the reply. No, I can't export to Snapshot either.
Am I missing something in the XP Packaging wizard? I can't see anywhere to
add any other dll's.

Hi Bob,
Alex Dybenko, a fellow MVP, was kind enough to help out with your
issue.

He said to have the Export option work work correctly - you have to run
access runtime with /profile key and define export filters for this
profile. For A97 this functionality was available via the ODE but Alex
has switched to third party installers since then and is unsure of this
feature is still supported int he current Developer Extensions.
Alex suggests you search on:
"profile" and "report format".

It seems to occur when deserializing an instance of a subclass, whose base class holds a struct, where said struct holds an instance to a reference type (but not System.String).
