Searching the character "question mark"

joe
I need to replace some question marks in a number of records, but the
find/replace tool uses that character as a wildcard.
How can I search and replace question marks?
Thanks in advance.

You can search on "[?]" without the quotes. You can see the following
article for more searching information.

A beginner in this area, I have been able to read a record from a MySQL database and populate an HTML form (wow!). Now, my goal is to allow the user to edit the contents of the form and then update the record in MySQL. The problem is, as soon as the "Update" button (type="submit") is pressed, all of the data disappear from the form. How can that be prevented? Here is my code:

Hello, all, I am not sure if this is the right place to ask, but could you kindly tell me how to "load" a shared object (like libx.so) into python, so that the methods in the .so can be used? That too, given that the shared object was written in c++, compiled with g++ ? Thanks, Pro Grammer

I finally discovered where all of the blue boxes in my IDE are coming from after, once again, accidently hitting "Mark All" in a Find in the Visual Studio.NET IDE. However, there is no "Unmark All". Does anyone know how to clear these?

I think my previous posts on this subject are too verbose and are scaring off replies so I'll keep this one brief: If I define my own operator new(size_t size) in a class, does that automatically hide (global) placement new? Would this prevent STL container classes from working (e.g., does std::allocator require placement new for its construct() method?)? Thanks for your help,

Hi, This script is designed to remove foul language from a document, the question is that it will only remove what is put into the array, these words are in lowercase, now how can I have the script parse the document in lowercase? If foul words start with a cap or their in uppercase the script won't remove them. I tried putting .toLowerCase(); into different parts of the script and it powered me off a few times. Any help is appreciated....

Hi, I am trying to set-up communication to the coin change-giver from my Linux box using the Python code. The change giver uses MDB (Multi Drop Bus) serial protocol to communicate with the master. MDB protocol is the 9bit serial protocol: (TX, RX lines only) 9600bps, 9bits, No Parity, 1 Start, 1 Stop. I would like to control the UART "parity bit" to try to simulate 9bit communication.

I am attempting to develop a solution where I handle bounced e-mails. I wish to field all bounced emails in a custom email account such a bounced@mycompany.com From the aricle at http://www.systemwebmail.com/faq/2.7.aspx, I gather I could use: mail.Headers.Add( "Reply-To", "alternate_email@mycompany.com" ); When I test this from a test web app, I don't seem to field a bounced email

Dear all, I used to use C++ programming language at all time but moved to C# and Java. Few days ago, I restarted studying about C++ with a very beginner's mind. I wrote a simple class and gcc couldn't compile the class. Any hints that I'm missing? Header File: #ifndef __Calc_h__

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...
