Has anyone tried to do an unattened install using the Package Wizard in
the 2003 Developers Extensions?

If so could you provide some basic information?

Thanks in advance.

I've just received a new computer with Win XP Version 5.1.2600. I want to have Access 2003 and Access 97 running on this, so I did some googling on cdma and it seems I must install these versions of Access "sequentially", ie, A97, first. When I use the Office 97 installation cd, pick my choices, I end up, at the end of the installation, an error telling me the system.mdw could not be created. When I click OK on this, the installer...

Last night took the plunge and upgraded to Office 2003 pro, and told it to get rid of 2000. Realized too late that some programs (such as FMS Develper Suite) do not yet include the components to work with 2003 version-single compnent ugrades are just too expensive. Speed Ferret has not yet released a new version to work with Access 2003. So I need to have Access 2000 back. Can someone please advise? Can I install only Access 2000 in a...

I am trying to find the Office Developer Editon for Access, but it seems to have disappeared. Did they stop making it after Office 2000? I have an MSDN Universal license, but it doesn't appear available on the distributed disks, and I can't even find it on Microsoft's Web Site. (Though I did find the Access Developer Extensions.) What I am particularly looking for is to use the

Hello, Has anyone here used the Visual Studio 2003 Office Developers Extensions? I'm wondering if the package and deployment wizard is any better than it's XP / 2002 counterpart. I already have 2002 Dev Edition, but would like something a little more configurable and a little more reliable when it comes to dependancies. Any input would be appreciated.

Hi I'm running Windows 2000 and Office 2003. I want to copy tables from an unknown database format into Access 2.0 and I could do it quite easily if it weren't for the fact that recent ODBC-drivers aren't capable of writing into an Access 2.0 database (only reading). I do have the old Access 2.0 disks including odbc-driver, but it doesn't install on my machine (probably because the newer ones are installed...). And yes, I know that...

I am trying to re-install access after a user deleted the folder. After entering the key the prohram verifies the install is going to the c\program files\outlook directory and that there is enough space on the hard drive. Next a window pops up saying that there is not enough room on my E drive (cd-rom drive) to perform the install. I have tried to remove the program and then have tried to clean the registry. I even tried to install the...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
