Access 2003 - a system error happened or there is not enough memory

Hi all,
win xp, msaccess 2003 recently upgrade, msoffice 2000 recently upgrade.

Since i upgrade office i have the above message each time.(a system
error...)

I click ok, office close, then i restart it,

.... and i have a new message box saying do you want to start access in safe
mode i say yes, then it start
correctly.

I once had a message that something was wrong about command bars.

It is very annoying. i have to start access two times when i want to work
If i double clik on a mdb file i have always an error message,

To make it work:
I must call the access program
I exit (error)
I call the program again in safe mode
I have to select a mdb
Then it is ok.

Regards,
Pierre

I've made a program sorting incomming mail in public folder. The function runs every minute by using the form.timer event. In Access XP it runs for weeks, no problem. Access 2003 runs the same code for 6 hours and stops. I've found the problem to be the Set MySession = CreateObject("MAPI.Session")

Hello I develop my applications in Access 2002. My development system is running Windows XP SP2 and I have Microsoft Office XP Developer. Microsoft Office XP is at SP3. Been using Access 97 for years. I use a statistics add-on (Total Access Statistics) which is kind of expensive and I haven't found anything to be gained by upgrading. But I'm now told I probably should because of memory issues with Access 97 which are getting increasingly fussy. I'm told that, at best, Access 2007 isn't really very good,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...
