Stored procedures - Microsoft Access / VBA

I've looked everywhere for info on stored procedures using Access. Any info
on how to make one?

The Jet database engine, Access' default engine, does not support stored
procedures. A similar functionality is provided by saved Queries.

Access "Projects" (ADP) include some ability to create stored procedures for
Microsoft SQL Server used as its database, but someone with more interest in
ADPs than I have would need to discuss those with you, if that is what you
have in mind.

Stored Procedures (SPs) are a sql server element. You can create these
from Sql Server Enterprise Manager (EM), Query Analyzer, or from an
Access ADP using a similar graphical interface as EM, or if you don't
have access to an Access ADP or EM, you can create an sp using ADO in
Access, Excel, VB ide.

Here is a sample using ADO

I have never explored this, but, from the Access 2000 Developer's Handbook,
Desktop Edition, page 198:

"In order to make Jet more compatible with SQL Server, Jet 4 has added
support for views and stored procedures ... they are Jet queries repackaged
to work like ANSI-92 views and SQL Server stored procedures" (whatever that
means).

On the following pages, the CREATE PROCEDURE, EXECUTE, and DROP PROCEDURE
statements are briefly explained.

How this compares to SQL Server, I dunno.
