I am using Outlook 2000 and it returns version 9x
Does that mean Outllok 2002 would be 10x and Outlook 2003 would be 11x?

I am writing a VB.NET application in Visual Studio 2003. I have written a method that handles several events, such as closing a form and changing the visible status of a form. I have some code that applies to all these events, but I need to have specific code execute when the form closes. The properties for this method are sender (the originator) and e (event arguments). I know how to get typeof (sender) to determine what form or...

We're using an Access2000 ADP with an SQL2000 back-end. Because SQL2000 was released after Access2000 you need to be running Access2000 SP1 (2 or 3) for it to work properly. Is there an easy way for the ADP to determine programatically wether the correct service pack is installed (or if they are using a newer version such as 2002/2003)? Ta.

I'm accessing MSOutlook via Microsoft.Office.Interop.Outlook. It works fine if I add a reference to either version 11 (Outlook 2003) or version 12 (Outlook 2007) of the interop assembly to my project. However, I don't want to build two different applications for each version; I want my application to detect and use the current version at runtime. But when I load the assembly at runtime, I don't have access to its classes at compile time...

Hello All, I have a major application for quoting and invoicing that is written in Access 97 (both front and back ends). I have a user base of over 300 customers, and currently I don't require that they have Access 97, as I use the access 97 runtime scripts from Sagekey software. The main problems I've seen with Access 97 are the built in e-mail support for sending reports. Unless a user uses the MS Outlook 2000/XP method, they have to...

Hi, I have a question on outlook versions for my access database. I have a database and it's on access 2003 with outlook 2003 (this database has a command to send an automatic email, and since my computer has office 2003, the outlook library is automatically pointed to outlook 11.0). My question is do other users need to have the same version of outlook as me in order to be able to use my access database? because some of the users only have...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
