I have a report that groups data on an Area, the report is set to force a
new page for each Area within the report.
Each Area will have 1 or more pages.
Is it possible to make the page numbering start at page 1 for each Area
within the report.
I know I could achieve this by printing each Area individually but I'd like
to print them all in one go.
Thanks

You could monkey around with code in the various Report events and create
custom page numbering. But it will be easier to write a short routine to
print the Areas individually and let the Access reporting engine number the
pages for you.

I have a report that shows the results of a query. One of the fields
is an autonumber field from the query which shows for instance: 120,
121 , 122 for 3 records. Is there a way to have another field that
shows the numbering starting from 1 ie. 1, 2, 3? If the records were
sorted so that the first field showed the records in the order: 121,
120, 122 then I would need the second field would show them numbered
as 2, 1, 3. I would also need...

I posted this yesterday and it seems like a moderator has thrown it in
another thread. This is a totally different question to the one asked
in that thread, so I'm posting it again. It is not a simple
"numbering records on a report" question. It is more complex than
that.

Dear reader,
Most of the reports have a page numbering as Page x of nn, starting at the
first page 1 (one) to the last page nn.
But know I need to start with Page 1 of nn for each report-group.

Evening,
I have a form that uses 5 pages (it's an electronic copy of the paper
version) we are going to use for manufacturing non conformances and
product deviations. In case your wondering, it's 5 pages to get the
risk assessment done before it gets to my area in QA and the db is a way
to electronically archive the information for regulatory compliance
reporting. Anyway, I've been merrily going along making a report the
same as the...

I'm having trouble continuously page numbering a large report in MS
Access. The report is made up of three separate Access reports which I
join together at the end.
In the past I have opened the reports and viewed them to see how long
they are then go in and manually type the page number and total page
number.
I am aware of the and lines of code but this resets with
each new report.

Is there a way to create a numbering for the Details in an Access 2003 Report. For instance, if a report has 12 records that make up the Details in a report, can these be numbered, i.e., 1, 2, 3, 4, etc., for each Detail record.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
