Hi,
My (main)form has a subform that contains the details of the mainform. The
default view of the mainform is 'single form', the default view of the
subform containing the details is 'Datasheet' - Datasheet displays the data
of the associated table as a grid.
I want both the mainform (the master) and the subform to be displayed as
grid. But after changing the default view of the mainform to 'datasheet',
the subform disappears completely - probably because it is "part of" the
mainform?
Isn't there a way to display both the mainform and the subform as a grid? I
would suprised if this is impossible!

In Access 2000, & higher versions, you can insert subdatasheets into
datasheets - just like form/subform.
I've noticed that sometimes the subdatasheet doesn't show. I open the
forms in design view, change some things to Dirty the form & save it.
If that doesn't work, I delete the subform control on the main form;
save main form; open the main form & drag the subform onto it. That
usually causes the subdatasheet to appear.
Remember that the subdatasheet is visible until you click the + sign on
the main datasheet's record.
