Hi!
My first question was, can I hide a form field and make it visible upon
selecting a particular value on a dropdown select field? Hoping for your

Modern browsers provide an optional way of remembering user input in
textbox: user begin to type, and a list drop down just under the
textbox showing matching strings already typed.
I just want to provide my own droplist.

I have this simple bit of code that when you check a checkbox and it
displays or hides two other fields (well actually two parts of the
document with two different IDs. Pretty straight forward... I thought.
The fields come and go, but something happens to the table formatting;
on NS 7.1 and Firefox 1.0 it seems to miscount or hide the number of TD
tags or something else confusing.
Can anyone tell me what I'm doing wrong?

I need to find a way to run an external exe (using the process class I
assume) and hide. When the process is closed I want my application to
reappear.
For example, press a button on form1, run notepad and hide form1. Close
notepad and form1 reappears.
Any ideas?

There is an iframe in my document that is hidden, which is the target for a
submitted form. When the form is submitted, some javascript sets a hidden
div, to displaying, eg:
document.getElementById('hiddendiv').style.display = '';
This div, simply has the words "building csv file, please wait", and is
used, because their is no indication in IE, as to what is happening, when
the user clicks on 'Results in CSV format', to return a report...

I have a form which calls up a second form for purposes of data entry.
When closing the data entry form and returning to the main form, things
don't work as expected.
When I return to the main form, I trigger the on acitvate event to run
a macro. I can use the Dlookup function to update my fields, which is
OK. However, I intitially tried to use the Repaint Object command to

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
