Rotating Objects in Access 2000 Project

Greetings,

I have a text box, label and subreport that i'm trying to rotate
vertically. The properties list doesn't list any such
property. Can I add one, or do i have to code to make these object
rotate?
I'm using Access 2000 project

Thanks in advance,
Don

Both labels and text boxes have a property of Vertical which can be set to
"Yes". Subforms are a different matter.

Yes, I'm aware of the Vertical Property, but it doesn't rotate the right
way! It does 90deg to the right, I need 90deg to the left.
Also, I need to rotate a subform and a bardode object.

Any ideas?
Don

Hi David, thanks for your reply

I've already tried that site; they do have text rotation.
Unfortunately, I need to rotate other objects on my form.

Anyone else have an idea?

Truth is that I don't know a first thing about db's, let alone using mysql... I downloaded mysql form www.mysql.com and...

I have a class library (clsTestLib) that was created in VB.Net that I would like to use in Access 2000. I created a typelib for the class using regasm.exe. I am able to refernce (add a reference) the dll using the generated typelib. In Access, when I run the Access application and declare a new instance of the class as follows Dim MyTest As clsTestLib.Class1 Set MyTest = New clsTestLib.Class1 I get an error Run-time message that says...

I inhereted a rather extensive MS Access 2000 database (SQLServer 2000 backend)in adp format. Is there a way to search the Access front end for references to specific database objects? Let's say there are 100 macros and I want to know if any of them use a particular stored procedure. I'd hate to have to manually look in all 100 macros.

Is there a way to find out where an application was created from? i.e. - work or home i.e. - if application sits on a (work) server/network, the IT people know the application is sitting there, but is there a way they can find out if that application was put there from a CD or email or created at work? Hint: It's not on a client/server database, just native jet database mdb created on Access 2003 (default 2000)...

I have a question regarding vertical text labels in the Reports area of Access 2000. In the properties area, selecting vertical text to "yes" rotates the text 90 degrees so that the text reads top-to-bottom. My question is: How can I get the text to rotate 270 degrees so that the text reads bottom-to-top?

I've read that one method of repairing a misbehaving database is to save all database objects as text and then rebuild them from the text files. I've used the following code posted by Lyle Fairfield to accomplish the first step: Private Sub SaveObjectsAsText() path = CurrentProject.path & "\ObjectsAsText\" SaveDataAccessPagesAsText SaveFormsAsText SaveReportsAsText

I'm running Access 2003 on an XP machine, and there are multiple developers who are working on different "assignments" of our large database project. We all work on a local copy and export changes made to various objects. Version controlling is becoming more of an issue, so we've developed a real basic version control system that tracks "exports" to the primary DB (which is then version-controlled prior to distribution to the client--which...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
