Is it possible to export a report to word and have it include the
graphics that are in the report?
I'd like to take some of our reports and export them to word so we can
email those to the client, but when I export, I lose the logo as well
as any graphics (grey line separaters, etc) and only get the text of
the reports.

This real novice VB.NET programmer wants to put a "scatterplot" (just
a bunch of dots) on his form. There'll be other stuff on the form
too, but it's the scatterplot which I need your help on. Is
PictureBox the way to go? If so I am not finding any SIMPLE examples
using PictureBox in VB.NET.
If it matters ... I will eventually want to...

Hi Everyone;
In a report, I've essentially recreated a paper sheet by adding various
labels--name, date, problem, year, Progress Notes, etc.--and horizontal
lines (people have traditionally written notes). I made all of these
in the Page Header section. By the way, this is a report form to track
the daily progress of students.
--Report...

Hi,
A little while ago I wrote a small program that allowed the user to view
products from a database. The database holds the details of the products
which can be viewed via a form and additionally pictures of the product are
stored in an images subfolder and the database holds the file name of the
relevant picture. The user can then click a...

If I look for guidance on this topic I find simple examples like this:
public class Form2:Form {
public Form2() {
this.Text = "FORM2";
this.Size = new Size(450,400);
this.Paint += new PaintEventHandler(Draw_Graphics);
}
public void Draw_Graphics(object sender,PaintEventArgs e)

Hi,
I hope you guys can help me make this simple application work. I'm
trying to create a form displaying 3 circles, which independently
change colors 3 times after a random time period has passed.
I'm struggling with making the delegate/invoke thing work, as I know
GUI objects aren't thread-safe. I don't quite understand the concept
I'm...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then...
