On screen values not flowing thru to calculations properly

SJM
There is a database which has combo boxes to allow users to select values
from pre-set lists of common specifications. The form allows users to enter
values that are not in the dropdown lists. When all input specifications are
entered the user clicks on a button which performs a series of calculations
and returns the results. It seems when the user enters values that are not
in the drop downs the calculations come back wrong, other wise the resulting
calculations are correct. I am told that when the user steps thru the code
that when they hover the mouse over the combo box values in the vba
calculations code that they can see the correct values as entered on the
screen, yet the final result does not calculate correctly. I do not have a
copy of the database. Could this be because the values from the combo boxes
are being referenced in the code as me.CboInput1 instead of
me.CboInput1.va lue?

I currently have a set of simple calculations to determine square footage and multuply that by a dollar amount per foot. I use form fields that are filled in by the user, and then the Submit button opens the asp page that returns the result of the calculation. What I would like to do is add certain numbers to the total based on radio buttons or checkboxes that the user activates on the form page. For instance, they enter the numbers into...

I am not sure if this is possible, and i cannot get google to tell me, so i am trying here! I wish to display a list of addresses, probably about 20, and i want them to be in a grid formation. However i want the number of addresses accross the screen to be decided by the browser (depending on the width of the window being used) so a hard coded table is not great. I am fairly sure i have seen a solution somwhere, but now i cannot

Hey guys, I have a length converter which converts mm, cm, m, km, ft, yd, in and mi. If I convert 5mm to miles, I get 0.00000031068559649... miles. I'm looking to convert all my values to two decimal spots, but if it comes up zeros, I would like to round to two spots after the last zero. I've looked through google and haven't found anything I could use yet, so I was wondering if you guys had any scripts or any leads I could use to make...

3rd time posting this as the first two simply disappeared! Here's the issue: We currently run an Access application in the West Coast for tracking resource centric data. For those located in the West the program zips along fine but the folks in the East Coast are having a nightmarish performance issue. We've had our tech guys take a look and it's due to the network speed across a long distance and there's nothing much that can be done.

Has anyone seen this strange behavior? My 97 database accidentally got converted to 2002. When I converted it back, all fonts on screen (and in print) seem to be defaulting to MS sans serif. I say seem because when you look at the font property, it lists the correct font, but displays as the default until I change the size (or name). Then it displays properly. I saw this once before though I can't recall the exact circumstances, but...

I am working on a database that has a lot of calculated values on the forms. These were never put into the tables. But were tied to unbound fields on the forms. Now 8000 records later they want these values in the tables. All of this is done in modules after update of certain values entered on the forms. The calculations are called on current of the forms so they are recalculated each time the form is opened. I have no idea why it was...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
