Finding problems in reports where functions are involved

hi,
I'm finding this problem most frustrating. (It's probably my lack of
undersating of functions!) I want to fill a control in a report with the
result of a function. I'm calculating the average of a number of fields for
the current record. It all works .. to a point!! Using for and next I can
identify the fileds and get the data. All is fine until the fields are
empty or null (I'm not quite sure.) all I get back is 'error' in the
report, and that is not very helpful. (Even with on error etc in the
function. I've exhausted (probably not actually) all possible combinations
od Nz, iif etc!!

Thanks in advance

Hi all, My main problems are::::::::: 1. Set a value within a block container that can be used and changed by subsequent templates/block-containers/tables etc.. 2. get/determine/find the setting that tell the process that the new top of the document region is now at the end of the last block-container used, this must be set in that last block container. 3. find the value used in the 'top" setting on the prior

Good day Everyone, I am a still very new at learning C and I have thrown myself in the deep end. I started with a simple program and kept widening the scope. This has taught me many things about C and some, I must admit, have not really sunk in yet. Still, I push on. Now I am taken a library of C programs that were designed to read HDF files. I work on a Unix server and in Mandrake10. The program below is most likely broken but I cannot...

I'm having problems with Reports and I'm seeking some help, or advice on how to solve this problem. Any help will be much appriciated! It’s hard to explain but I will try to do my best: In my Database I have about 6 to 7 reports that show me all the data from different tables. When I open any Report in 'Print Preview' Mode everything looks fine and the Reports open just fine. But once in a while, for some strange reason and I don't know why,...

Hi I know, that there are a lot of people having problems with orkut.com, errors like "object expected" and named objects missing. When loading the site can generate some 10 errors, and still just leave a blue page - seems like it heavily rely on JS. Still, me and friends having problems and orkut seems just to ignore it. I am sure, that other poeple have problems, and I really wonder what

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
