How to design dynamic table (Unknown number of cells)

Hi,

I an using MS-Access in order to build a site.
I have this item that can have upto 10 pictures (might have none)
I want to design a dynamic table which has the ID of the item at the
first cell (primary key) and then upto 10 cells of file names of the
pictures.

The problem is that I do not know in advance how much pictures will I
have (since it depends of each item that is added)
What should I do? Do I have to make all the cells in advance with a
default value and if I dont put any picture just don't use them?
(seems like a big waste of memory)

Can you please guide me about my options? (I am using the "Create by
design view" in order to create a table)

Thanks in advance

I'd advise looking into database normalization. Then you'd realize that what
you're trying to do isn't recommended. Instead of multiple fields in a
single row, you should have multiple rows.

Here are a bunch of references I have handy, but I can't guarantee they're
all still valid:

Dear experts, I am new to c++ (arriving from java) and I am having to implement a data table that contains cells with numbers and cells with text. I would appreciate any general indications about what would be the best approach, bearing in mind that performance will be critical. Many thanks Johan

All: I have a control that renders a table. As the table is rendered, each row in the table is constructed by creating a run-time (dynamic) object that is derived from an HtmlTableRow. The row has three HtmlTableCell objects, and each cell contains a single control added to the HtmlTableCell's Controls collection. The basic table renders correctly, but the controls within the HtmlTableCell objects do not; the cells are just empty. (Just...

All, I would be very grateful for any help on this question. I have an application in asp.net 2.0 where I dynamically create a datatable and then bind that to a gridview. Unfortunately, the date column always shows the date and time while I just want the short date. I have tried applying a format string {0:d} but to no avail. I saw a lot of posts regarding the htmlencode property but I do not know how to turn that off for a...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
