VBA editor changes keyboard layout.

Hello all,

posting my question in this newsgroup is about the last alternative I
can think of to resolve my problem.

The standard keyboard layout in the office is AZERTY.
Still, my access xp mdb acts as if the keyboard is QWERTY.

I deleted the QWERTY layout in regional settings in win xp pro.
However, whenever I open the VBA code, it recreates QWERTY in regional
settings and forces the appl to act as if QWERTY is the keyboard
layout.

How come? Any suggestion is welcome.

There is some code there that is calling LoadKeyboardLay out or calling
intl.cpl with an unattend file to add the layout.

Dear Michael,

I saw your name many times in the disc. groups. So great was my
surprise that I had the honour to receive a response from somebody who
has more interesting problems to cope with.

Whilst awaiting response, I tried to get rid of the problem by
importing everything into a brandnew mdb. It seemed to work but not
for long.

So tomorrow in the office, I will be looking into your advise more
deeply.

Many thanks again.
Sincerely, Rudi.

I'm new to HTML and want to learn the basics by learning to code by hand (with the assistance of an HTML editor to eliminate repetitive tasks). Can anyone recommend a good, basic HTML editor that's a step beyond Notepad (not a WYSIWYG tool). Thanks.

Well, it seems that Microsoft, or whatever powers that be have decided it's time for us to have yet another standard keyboard layout change. I think I see that the point of this one was to reduce the space occupied by the keys on the right, so the reach to the mouse is not so bad, but the way they chose to do it? Ah - I see. Since most...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows.
