I'm new to HTML and want to learn the basics by learning to code by hand
(with the assistance of an HTML editor to eliminate repetitive tasks).
Can anyone recommend a good, basic HTML editor that's a step beyond
Notepad (not a WYSIWYG tool). Thanks.

Well, it seems that Microsoft, or whatever powers that be have decided it's
time for us to have yet another standard keyboard layout change.
I think I see that the point of this one was to reduce the space occupied by

they chose to do it?
Ah - I see. Since most...

what's wrong with that?!
wouldn't replacing spaces with tabs do that? Were disks ever
*that* small? I've worked on old mini-computers and even
then we didn't try to save space at the *source* level.

I'm looking for a program or command line or anything that would allow me to have more than the maximum 4 keyboard layout language groups that keyboard preferences in Ubuntu restricts me too. I can work with 5, but more would be better. I like to switch between US and UK but need German, Russian, Hebrew, Greek, and French as I use these languages...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in...
