suddenly "on Error" doesn't work anymore

Sometimes it happens that an application that worked well before
starts to complain.
All kind of simple commands seem suddenly to be ununderstandabl e.
I then check the list of 'references', if I see something unusual.
(I use a non-English version and References is my guess for the translation)
If DAO objects is there, Visual Basic extensions etc.
Nothing unusual this time, at least: to my knowledge. Which is only
limited...

Can anybody shed some light on my error-error?

TIA

I found the solution on
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=n...ases.ms-access
I had to change the Errorhandling setting to anything else than Break on all
errors.

Still my question why a decently operating application sometimes forget how
to work.

An application I have written is, suddenly it seems, throwing the following error after being left in use for several hours. This does not seem to occur with lighter usage. I am not 100% sure what causes this? Anyone have any advice? Seen it before? Traceback (most recent call last): File "PythonCardPrototype\binding.pyo", line 304, in...

I have a C# solution with a dozen or so projects. There are references between the projects, and these were all added as "Project" references. Everything's been working fine for months, but suddenly today it all collapsed in a heap. I get a mysterious error when running the project: "The located assembly's manifest definition with name...

I received this message when loading a web form that was working before. I rebuilt the project, but still could not get past this error. So, I basically copied the FILENAME.aspx.vb code and pasted it into a new page with the same name (of course, after deleting the original file). Now, it runs fine!

Hey guys: What can I do when an "Error Creating Control" is displayed on the form (instead of the control), and a tooltip indicating the error never is displayed? Is there some log, some hidden message, some entry in registry where a log is created (or that enables a log, trace, dump or whatever)... I'm a little bit frustated with this error...

Hi, I have set up an asp.net website on another PC in order to test it. The site was fine on my PC, but on the new PC all the pages give the error "The Page Cannot Be Found". Some legacy pages (ASP, as opposed to ASP.Net) work fine. The old PC was running Windows 2000 Server, and the new PC I am testing on is running Windows Server 2003. ...

Hi, As a former VB-programmer I'm used to the "on error goto"-errorhandling. I see that in actually all the VB.NET-samples I can fin people use the "Try - catch"-errorhandling. Which of the two is the best? Are there good reasons to use the Try-Catch? Will the "on error goto" disapear in the future? Are there any logical reasons to use...

Hello Everyone; My site was hacked the other day -- someone was able to rename my index.shtml file and put their own index.html file on my server. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
