I have just run into a problem where I have a text box control on a form
that is linked to a memo field in a table. When I type a really long
comment into the field, it allows me to type it and then does save the
entire comment to the table. However, when I use a query which includes
this field to send to a report, the field is truncated at the old text field
limit of 255 characters. I have ascertained that it is happening in the

How do I write a query that combines the CTC field from each record below into
one record? I need to concatenate the CTC field with a separator, like below:

I built and employment report from the employment table. I then had to
add a field to the table. I now need to add that field to the report.
I can't seem to be able to do that by clicking on table icon and adding
the field as it is not listed.

Hi all,
Using an embedded report, I suddenly started getting the message
Report blah is ambiguous in namespace widget. (Or words to that effect).
Expanding the report object showed it had another vb file added to it.
For a while I was able to survive by just deleting this file and carrying
on.
But I ended up in a situation where the file was not showing but the error
was still occurring.

I was just trying to get a list of all my reports along with their
widths.
I can't use the "Reports" collection because it only works on open
reports. So I tried looking into the "AllReports" collection and it
doesn't seem any more useful... only allows you to find out the name of
each report.

Hello,
I'm looking for a way to parse/format a memo field within a report.
The Access 2000 database (application) has an equipment table that
holds a memo field. Within the report, the memo field is printed within
the detailed area. The problem is, the apllication is not setup
properly, thus the users are entering data within the memo field as:

I have a VB.NET application with the Report server 2005 .NET control on a
form... when I run a report that has a document map with grouped items the
map shows as a single collapsed node then I can expand it to show the
rest... well i want the node to be expanded programmaticly after the report
is done rendering... is there any way to do this? thanks!

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
