Hi there, I am a bit of a newboy to access I have a database which I wish to
have pictures.
for example: record one will have data and a picture, record two will have
different data and a diferent picture.
I am pretty sure that a picture bound frame is used, but are unable to make
it work.
Anybody able to help?

Chris,
You want to store your pictures in a separte file from the database. You want to
display your pictures with an image control and use the Picture property to
define the path to the picture.

The sample imaging databases at http://accdevel.tripod.com illustrate three
approaches to handling images in Access, and the download includes an
article discussing considerations in choosing an approach. Two of the
approaches do not use OLE Objects and, thus, avoid the database bloat, and
some other problems, associated with images in OLE Objects.
If you are printing the images in reports, to avoid memory leakage, you
should also see MVP Stephen Lebans' http://www.lebans.com/printfailures.htm.
PrintFailure.zi p is an Access97 MDB containing a report that fails during
the Access formatting process prior to being spooled to the Printer Driver.
This MDB also contains code showing how to convert the contents of the Image
control to a Bitmap file prior to printing. This helps alleviate the "Out of
Memory" error that can popup when printing image intensive reports.

i have lots of data for products (with different categories) and pictures
that i would need it entered into a database on the website. How would i go
about doing so?
i was thinking about an excel sheet with each category as a sheet but i have
no idea what to do about the pictures that will go with each product, (since
i would not want the pictures in the mysql database.)

Hi,
Does anyone know how I can add a web cam to an access database for
capturing jpg. photos? As a not-for-profit agency that supports people
with disabilities, we have to update their photos once a year. I am
looking for an easy way to update their photos by having a webcam
setup, view the live image on desktop and click a button that will
save the image back to the database and link up with their record?
Any software or ideas?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
