How can I get DatabaseFileNam e to refer to the current mdb file?

now have hard-coded the command to set the DatabaseFileNam e to the name of
the mdb file in which it resides:
DatabaseFileNam e = "Client Reporting.mdb"

I assume there is a variable name that simply refers to the Access database
in which one is currently working?

Thanks

What would be the best platform-independent way to refer to the current (execute) path for a Python script? self.dirname = ??? This variable should contain directory name for the current path. It should work on every platform (Linux, Windows...). I'm not interested in parsing this string. That is, simple f.write(self.dirname)

I have huge number of legacy code which use standard files functions. I would like to pass a memory pointer rather than a FILE pointer. I am trying to use FILEs in the code to refer to memory buffers. Basically, I want to be able to use all the standard read and write functions, but I want them to refer to memory locations, rather than disk files. I do not want to touch the legacy code. Does any one know of a library

This is a classic double hop delegation issue, however its the first time we are setting this up so we are doing something incorrectly. If we run through the IDE or using a localhost path on the web server the command succeeds. However, if we use the servername or ip through IIS it fails. For this reason we know we have permissions setup correctly on the file server. Can anyone identify what we could possibly be doing wrong here: ...

How can I include one XML file into another XML file (on the client side, in Firefox)? I think XInclude is just what I need, but Firefox doesn't support it: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=201754 It seems I also can use an "external entity reference", but that depends on a DTD and I'm using XML Schema. Is it also possible with a Schema and how can I do it?

Hi I'm running an ASP.NET web application under IIS. I'm inserting a cache object with a file based CacheDependency. I've noticed that when the file changes the Cache object is not always immediately invalidated. e.g. Cache.Insert("myobj", data, new CacheDependency(filePath)); When I make a change to the file 'filePath' and call the object from the cache it is not null. I'm disposing of the FileStream object immediately

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
