Bob
Hi Everybody

A tough one!!!

Is there any way that incoming eMails (MailItems) into Ms Outlook can be used to automatically
create records in a ms Access table or sub table.

Not really.

Automatically? Depends on your definition of automatic. If you mean can Access
look every once in a while at the incoming emails in Outlook to see if there are new
emails then yes. But to have the record added to Access the moment the incoming
email is detected in Outlook then that would have to be done in Outlook.

Are you dealing with an Exchange Server? If so then Outlook is likely your best
answer. See the Outlook section at the below URL.

If it's a standard POP3 mailbox then there are other solutions available at the below
URL.

Here is the text of an email I recently received from a user of our Access 2K application. This is totally baffling to me. "WXYZ" = the name of our program for the purpose of this message. "What I did was I sent every email in my WXYZ to myself. Interestingly, most of the emails delivered. Out of 18, 6 wouldn’t deliver. I tried changing the subject verbiage and then it delivered to my inbox. Therefore, there’s an email filter...

Hi We need some advice: We are thinking of upgrading our Access database from Access 2000 to Access 2004. How stable is MS Office 2003? (particularly Access 2003). We are just a small company and this is a big decision for us(!) It's not just the money it's committing to an new version of Access!

My app creates a building report. My users have requested that I provide functionality to e-mail these "building reports" to building managers once a month. So assuming that I have the following table that lists a building manager's name, e-mail address and their building, is there a way that I can automate this to send these monthly e-mails from Outlook. Ideally this would be a click one button type of action:

I have a Access database of email addresses that I would like to mass email to customers. Can Access be used through Outlook? or can it just be done with Access? I know it is possible to use MailMerge for snailMail.

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
